Refurbishment

Modern Art with period detail

Remodelling and refurbishment of a large duplex apartment maximising the use of the eaves spaces.

This apartment on the top two floors of a Wimbledon mansion block was tired and run down and the clients wanted to maximise the use of the building to accommodate their growing family and allow them to work from home.

The interventions on the upper floor created new rooms but also made great use of the eaves spaces: corner cupboards, recessed shelving, a server room, utility room and even a bridge to a small reading nook. A white lye Dinesen floor was installed throughout the apartment creating a lovely light filled set of spaces that flow from one to another, with clutter kept hidden away in all the new storage.
