This co-educational day preparatory school in Oxshott wanted to create a music technology classroom to enhance the offer provided to students.

The brief was for the new room to have the look of a 'London recording studio' and be 'unlike a classroom'. It was to be suitable for a wide age range, providing 12 stations for use by two pupils with a 13th for the music teacher. A station was required for making podcasts.

The school was given  options for layouts and choice of equipment, furniture and finishes as well as additional data, acoustic panels and suitable lighting.

The new music tech room  has proved to be a very popular facility.
