Basement changing village

Over the course of two summer holidays, St Johns School has created a suite of bright and modern changing rooms for students in the basement of Main Building, the original Grade II listed school building dating from 1872.
Redundant office and laundry rooms have been repurposed to provide two changing rooms for male and female students fitted out with cubicle showers, changing benches and toilets. Provision has also been made for two gender neutral showers and a DDA shower cubicle.
The renewal and tidy up of pipework in adjacent corridors, the distinctive decoration of walls and large graphics for wayfinding has transformed the appearance of the new basement ‘changing village’.
